SymbioTex is a truly home compostable, sustainable material that can be used to revolutionise the production of packaging and medical devices currently made from single-use plastic. The material utilises sustainably cultivated seaweed to produce home compostable filaments and pellets.

We use natural pigments which means our home compostable pellets come in many different colours.

Our prototype inhaler which was 3D printed from using our bio based home compostable filaments.

Our raw material, red seaweed, next to our home compostable pellets containing more than 50% seaweed. These pellets are processable on standard industry machinery.

Plaques of our material which demonstrate our ability to tailor thickness and transparency based on your unique requirements.

Our pellets can even be re-processed into bio-based home compostable films!
